Dani Albertina started choreographing at the ripe age of 7 years old---her audience mainly being her family and friends.
In pursuit of choreographing for larger audiences, she began with her Jr. High Dance Team, where staccato pom and jazz numbers were created and co-choreographed. In high school, she began training more frequently in ballet and began to create contemporary works. As a member of her collegiate dance team, she choreographed kick routines, hip hop as well as jazz. In pursuit of her Bachelor of Arts in Dance, she created pieces within the dance department which were accepted to be staged for the main concerts, as well as nominated to perform at ACDFA.
After college, she continued choreographing for dance teams such as Nashville, IL, Collinsville H.S. and Ottawa University. After moving to NYC she became the head choreographer of Applause NYC- Troupe as well as Director of the Elite Dance Co. at Sol Dance Center. Her choreography has been staged at Dancesanity Stars, a Baskin Robbins Commercial and at Las Chicas Locas. Her versatility within movement genres as well as openness to a variety of ages is what keeps Dani consistently creating.
